Hi Dave, On May 5th, Gustavo Wasa is done in Erfurt. It's in their "Oper am Klavier" series, so it will be smalls caled. I know in the contract of the singers for the Pesaro Otello a DVD recording is mentioned, but not for which company. The Lorenzino de'Medici seems to be postponed. Next season, we'll probably get a rare Donizetti (Pia de'Tolmei or Assedio di Calais) in Gelsenkirchen as well as Meyerbeer's L'Africaine. Rumour says that this might be the start of a true Meyerbeer cycle. But as on the programme of the Theater im Revier is decided only a couple of months before (they can do this because they have a group of singer under contract), one can hardly rely on these rumours, even if they come from inside the theater.
