Hi everyone! Have you ever felt frustrated at all of those miniature Wagners, etc., that were manufactured to stare down at you from your piano top? And why not Meyerbeer? I therefore decided to right the balance by commissioning one from sculptor Baruch Maayan. I gave him all the photos and drawings I could come up with and the result was, in my opinion, amazing. The cost is US$500 plus shipping charges (about $42 to the USA by air - 2 day delivery). If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to e-mail you some photographs of my pair (stereo!) and ask Baruch to caste one for you. Nominally he plans to produce up to 150 but, to date, he has only made 5 owing to lack of space in his studio. Each is numbered and signed. Regards to one and all, David Faiman faiman@zahav.net.il
