I attended an excellent classroom presentation of Meyerbeer at the 92nd Street "Y" in New York. Led ably by composer Joelle Wallach, the two hour program focused on virtually all aspects of the composer's life, explicated through his letters, and his music, highlighted by a few musical examples. Attendance was sparse (fewer than a dozen), but the group was enthusiastic.
